Guerrilla Mail Blocked on Twitter/X?

Guerrilla Mail domains are blocked on Twitter/X. Here's why and what you can do instead.

Why It's Blocked

Twitter/X blocks all Guerrilla Mail domains to combat bot account creation. Guerrilla Mail has been operational since 2006, making its domains some of the longest-established entries on disposable email blocklists. Twitter's anti-bot infrastructure automatically checks new registrations against these lists, and guerrillamail.com along with all its regional variants (.net, .org, .de, .biz, grr.la, etc.) are universally flagged. The signup form will reject the email immediately.

What You Can Do

Twitter's domain-based blocklist detection can be bypassed by using services with fresh, non-catalogued domains. NukeMail rotates through domains that aren't associated with the "temporary email" category in blocklist databases, giving them a window of usability. The domains are named to look like regular small email providers, avoiding pattern-based detection that catches domains with "guerrilla" or "temp" in the name.

Email alias services provide the most reliable path. Firefox Relay is free and creates @relay.firefox.com addresses that Twitter accepts. SimpleLogin offers more features including custom alias names. Both keep your real email hidden while using domains with impeccable reputation.

For a permanent private account, a free Tutanota or ProtonMail email gives you a stable address that will never be blocked by any social platform. Setup takes a minute and you get genuine encryption as a bonus.
