YOPmail Blocked on Reddit?
YOPmail domains are blocked on Reddit. Here's why and what you can do instead.
Why It's Blocked
Reddit blocks YOPmail domains during account creation. While Reddit historically had more relaxed email requirements than other platforms, increasing issues with ban evasion, vote manipulation, and spam led them to tighten disposable email detection. YOPmail's domains are on Reddit's blocklist, and the public inbox model makes it particularly easy to automate account creation at scale, which is exactly what Reddit is trying to prevent.
What You Can Do
Reddit's email detection is less aggressive than platforms like LinkedIn or PayPal, so disposable email services with lesser-known domains often work. NukeMail uses domains that look like regular email providers and aren't on the commonly referenced open-source blocklists, which gives them a good success rate with Reddit's checks.
Note that Reddit technically allows account creation without any email at all -- it's listed as optional during signup. If you just want to browse and occasionally comment without providing an email, you can skip the email field entirely during registration.
For an account you plan to use actively, consider a free ProtonMail address. Reddit is a platform where account history and karma matter, so having a stable email for recovery is worth the extra minute of setup.
