Temp Mail Blocked on TikTok?
Temp Mail domains are blocked on TikTok. Here's why and what you can do instead.
Why It's Blocked
TikTok blocks Temp Mail domains to prevent mass creation of fake accounts used for follower fraud, coordinated commenting campaigns, and ban evasion. Temp Mail's programmatically discoverable domain pool makes it easy for TikTok's engineering team to maintain an up-to-date blocklist. The domains are flagged during signup, and TikTok's validation rejects them with a generic "please enter a valid email" error. TikTok has been increasingly strict about this as the platform faces regulatory scrutiny around fake accounts.
What You Can Do
TikTok's detection targets well-known disposable email services specifically. Services with less public profiles and non-obvious domains tend to work better. NukeMail uses domains that don't follow the naming patterns TikTok's heuristics look for -- no "temp," "disposable," or "throwaway" in the domain, and no association with known disposable email lists.
Since TikTok is primarily a mobile app, Apple users have a built-in solution with Hide My Email, accessible right in the iOS keyboard during signup. It creates an @privaterelay.apple.com address instantly, and TikTok accepts it because blocking Apple's infrastructure would affect millions of legitimate users.
For Android users, SimpleLogin or Firefox Relay offer similar functionality. Or simply create a Tutanota account -- it doesn't require an existing email to sign up, takes a minute, and will never be blocked by any social platform.
