Mailinator Blocked on Discord?
Mailinator domains are blocked on Discord. Here's why and what you can do instead.
Why It's Blocked
Mailinator is blocked on Discord across all of its domains, including mailinator.com and its extensive network of alternate domains (guerrillamailblock.com, throwam.com, etc.). Mailinator is unique in that its inboxes are publicly accessible -- anyone can view any inbox without authentication. This makes it particularly dangerous for abuse, and Discord has blocked every known Mailinator domain. Discord's anti-abuse team actively monitors for new Mailinator domains as they appear.
What You Can Do
Mailinator's core problem is that its inboxes are public, which makes platforms extra aggressive about blocking it. Private disposable email services where each inbox requires an access code or token, like NukeMail, don't share this vulnerability. The inbox privacy combined with fresh domains makes them harder for platforms to justify blanket-blocking.
For Discord specifically, ProtonMail is the safest free option. Account creation takes under two minutes, and Discord will never block it. ProtonMail also provides end-to-end encryption, giving you genuine privacy rather than just disposability.
Developers testing Discord bots should use email sub-addressing with their work email, or set up a catch-all domain on a custom domain they control. Both approaches give you unlimited email variations on domains with established reputation.
