Guerrilla Mail Blocked on Instagram?
Guerrilla Mail domains are blocked on Instagram. Here's why and what you can do instead.
Why It's Blocked
Guerrilla Mail's domains, particularly guerrillamail.com, guerrillamail.net, guerrillamail.org, and grr.la, are all blocked by Instagram. Guerrilla Mail has been around since 2006 and is one of the most recognized disposable email brands, which means its domains appear on virtually every public and private blocklist. Instagram cross-references these lists automatically during registration and will reject any Guerrilla Mail address with a vague "email not supported" message.
What You Can Do
The fundamental issue is domain recognition. Any service that's been popular for years will have its domains blocklisted everywhere that matters. Newer services like NukeMail that use fresh, frequently rotated domains have a significant advantage here because the domains haven't had time to accumulate reports and blocklist entries.
Email alias services are another strong option. SimpleLogin, AnonAddy, or Apple's Hide My Email generate unique addresses on clean domains that forward to your real inbox. Instagram has no way to distinguish these from regular email addresses because they function identically.
You can also try using a less mainstream email provider for a dedicated Instagram account. Services like Disroot or Riseup provide free email on domains that aren't associated with disposable email at all.
